レコードという媒体に価値があった時代。そこに詰められた音楽だけでなく、それを包むジャケットにも芸術的な要素が大きかった。アルバムタイトルは『死と花』（邦題は『生と死の幻想』）。ジャケットの表はカラーで、裏は同じデザインでモノトーン。しかし、よく見ると微妙に異なっている。表はバラしか描かれていないが、裏には他の植物が葉を出している。地面は表と裏で連続し、バラの影は裏面のほうが濃い。
見開きのLPジャケット内にはキース自身の詩DEATH AND THE FLOWERが書かれている。「私たちは誕生と死の間で生きている。そして、日々の体験が誕生であり死でもある花のように、私たちは生きて行かなければならない」と解釈したが、どうだろうか。
