このアルバムに収められている曲は、ミンガスの他のアルバムで何度も聴いてきた気がする。調べてみると、そのからくりが分かった。タイトルを変えているのだ。Better Get ... 以外の曲名は、それ以前のタイトルからまったく連想できない。例えば、アルバムMingus Ah Um のGoodbye Pork Pie HatがTheme For Lester Youngになっている。ミンガスの意図は何だったのだろう。
