タイトルどおり1962年から66年までのライブ演奏を収録。2枚組CDで全30曲をほぼ時系列にまとめている。ほとんどの音源が、日本国内で未発表だったもの。62年4月16日のニューヨークでの「風に吹かれて」から始まり、66年5月17日のマンチェスターでの「ライク・ア・ローリング・ストーン」で幕を閉じる。そして、同年7月29日、ディランはウッドストック近郊でモーターバイクの事故を起こし、活動を休止する。

ディランは1941年5月24日生まれ。このアルバムは、20歳の終わりから25歳直前までのディランを捉えている。ジャケットの写真データが記載されていないが、65年7月25日のニューポート・フォーク・フェスティバルでの撮影のようだ。革ジャン、エレキギター、ハーモニカ。

全102曲8枚組CD + DVDのブートレグ・シリーズ第13弾。1978年10月から81年11月までの未発表ライブおよびスタジオ音源。収録8時間10分19秒。3枚のアルバムSlow Train Coming, Saved, Shot Of Loveと録音時期が重なる。この前後には、78年2-3月の武道館と84年7月のヨーロッパツアーReal Liveのライブアルバムしか存在しなかったので、貴重な音源である。

DVDでは、上記の「キリスト教3部作」に合わせて、ライブ映像の中に俳優マイケル・シャノンが読み上げる説教の映像を数か所に挟み込んでいる。これには、ちょっと無理矢理感があり、しかもライブのカメラワークも決して褒められるものではない。

ノーベル文学賞を2016年に受賞したディラン。受賞後の2017年3月31日にリリースされた3枚組アルバム『Triplicate（トリプリケート）』。国内盤パッケージには金色の受賞ラベルが貼られた。全30曲。それぞれのディスクにタイトルが付けられている。括弧内はライナーノーツによる注釈。
