ジャケットには、全16トラックの内、7トラックがマイルス、8トラックがフィンドレーのトランペットをフューチャーと記載。従って同じサントラ盤『死刑台のエレベータ』とは大きく異なり、マイルスのトランペットを全体通して堪能できるアルバムではない。マイルスが死の１年ほど前に、初めて役者に取り組み、サントラ盤に再チャンレジしたという事実を残したアルバム。
