Amazonでジャズのアルバムを漁っている時、いつのまにかSimon & Garfunkel The Collectionというボックスセットに出会った。5枚のCDと1枚のDVDで2,504円。サイモン＆ガーファンクルは2枚組LPのベストアルバムしか持っていなかったので、Amazonの罠にかかったのを承知で迷わず注文。6枚それぞれが紙ジャケット仕様になっていて、ボックスの中に納まっている。輸入盤であるものの、丁寧なパッケージである。しかも、CDはそれぞれボーナストラックが2曲か3曲入っている。
Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M.はサイモン＆ガーファンクルのデビューアルバム。1964年10月19日にリリース。The Sound Of Silenceが収録され、ディランのThe Times They Are A-Changin'をカバーしている。
