昭和の日。と言っても、このアルバムと直接の関係はない。自分にとっての昭和的アルバムである。国内でリリースされたのは1970年6月。昭和45年。中学2年の時。理科の自由研究の発表で、テープに録音したThe Long And Winding Roadをラジカセで教室に流したことを思い出す。環境音とデシベルの関係についての調査だった。

アルバムAbbey Roadは、1969年10月からアルバム・チャートを1位独走。しかし、1970年3月頃から下降が始まり、6月にLet It Beが急浮上して1位に。だが、Abbey Roadほどの力はなく、2ヶ月程度で失速した。米国では、ジョージ・ハリスンのAll Things Must Passが1970年末に登場。52年前、昭和真っ盛りの頃の出来事。
